Rs 1.32 lakh cash without supporting documents seized by election officials

Mangaluru, Mar 18, 2024: A team of election officials have seized a cash of Rs 1.32 lakhs which was being transported in a car without possession of relevant documents, at the Thodar-Edapadavu checkpost in Mangaluru North Assembly constituency limits on Sunday night.

 

A resident of Kaikamba who was travelling in a car was intercepted at the checkpost and his car checked when the cash was found. The person failed to furnish relevant documents relating to the cash following which it was seized.
