Rowdy-sheeter Naveen D’souza murder case: Five arrested

Managluru, Mar 09, 2018 : Udupi police have arrested five persons on March 09, Friday in connection with the murder case of rowdy-sheeeter Naveen D’souza.

Kishan Hegde (32) of Karkala, Ramesh Poojary (43) of Shivalli, Mahesh Ganiga (31) of Palimar, Mohanchandra V Shetty (23) of Nadsal and Nagaraj Poojary (18) of Kolalgiri are identified as accused arrested.

Reports said that Kishen the mastermind in the case had promised the other accused to pay Rs2lakh along with  a job in Pune , if they helped him to murder Naveen.  They were waiting for the opportunity to attack Naveen. He wasbrutally assaulted by them just after he came out of a bar on the night of Wednesday February 28 at Kanjarkatte near Padubidri.

The police have taken all the five accused into custody, seized four machetes, a Maruti Swift and other items from them.
