Rohit Raj death case : Needle of suspicion on a woman

Udupi, Jan 03, 2020:  Police who are investigating  into the mysterious death of 53 year old Rohit Raj Suvarna, the founder of Dakshina Kannada’s first cable news channel,  have taken into custody the  woman who was with Rohit at  the Manipal flat where he was found dead.

 

The woman of West Bengal origin is being questioned by the police. Rohit’s family members and his friends suspect the role of t he woman behind his death.  The injury marks on Rohit’s head and chest and the fact that the body was lying on the floor when police arrived has given room for suspicion. A piece of cloth was hanging from the ceiling fan.

It is said both Rohit and the  woman had partied at a hotel on New Year eve and had returned to  the flat late night following which they had a quarrel. Sources also revealed that both had consumed excessive amount of alcohol during the party.
