Rider killed as bus rams into two-wheeler at Mulki

Mulki, Feb 05, 2018 : A speeding private bus rams into scooter killing rider on spot near Kokkarkal petrol pump in Mulki on February 05, Monday.

The deceased is identified as Madhusudan Kamath(61) resident of Sukhanand nagar in Karnad. He was a retired Syndicate bank employee.

It is said that Madhusudan was on his way back home, a speeding private bus plying from Mangaluru  knocked into his scooter. He along with the scooter was dragged to distance of 100mtrs, breathed his last on the spot. Over speed and reckless driving has been the reason for accident, says eyewitness.

Mangaluru North traffic police have registered the case.
