Rider dies on the spot in Truck-Bike collision at Ankola

Ankola, Oct 28, 2017 :  Rider died instantly on the spot after a speeding truck  rammed over him in the ghastly road accident that occurred near Heggar  in Ankola taluk on  October 28, Saturday evening.

 

The deceased is identified as Krishna Gonda(28).

Sources said that  Krishna Gonda was plying towards Ankola from Yellapur on his bike. A speeding  truck from opposite direction collided with his bike, killing him on spot. During the incident the bike was overtaking another vehicle, which as a result of losing the control on  the vehicle,  collided with each other.

Case has been registered in Ankola police station and investigations are in progress.
