Rider dies in bike-car head-on collision at Athradi

Udupi, Dec 12, 2017 : Rider dies another injured in car-bike head-on collision at Athradi near Parika Temple on December 12, Tuesday evening.

 

The deceased is identified as Preethesh Shetty of Herga. Nikhith(26) of Udyavara who was a pillion rider is said to be critical.


It is said that Preethesh and Nikith were on their way back from Manipal hospital  after visitng a frined who was injured in an accident. Their bike collided head with a car at Athradi. Due to the impact Preetesh lost balance on the bike came under the wheels.Both  suffered serious injuries, but Preethesh breathed his last whereas Nikith is being  treated.

Case has been registered in Hiriadka police station.
