Rice laden lorry topples near Netravathi Bridge; none hurt

Mangalore, May 7, 2014:  The driver and cleaner of a lorry escaped unhurt when the rice laden vehicle heading towards Kerala went out of control of its driver and toppled on the roadside near Netravathi Bridge on the NH 66 on Tuesday May 6.

The lorry was loaded with rice bags at Karkala.  It is learnt it was over speeding resulting in the accident.

Ullal  police have registered a case. Traffic was disrupted on the route for some time owing to the accident.
