Retaining wall collapses near Akashbhavan

Mangaluru, July 10, 2019: With heavy rains lashing the city since Tuesday night, a retaining wall close by a  house at Parapade near Akashbhavan has collapsed causing some minor damage. Luckily no one has been hurt.

 

MCC  personnel are presently engaged in removing the debris. It is learnt  the place was filled with  soil and an retaining wall was  constructed as  levelling works were underway nearby for a  shrine.
