Ullal, May 12, 2015 :Convener K Ashraf of ’United Muslim Organisation of Dakshina Kannada District’   has given an ultimatum of 10 days to the district administration to publicise the police investigation report and medical report on alleged sexual abuse on a school girl by a private school van driver in  Ullal station limits on March 13. Speaking to reporters on May11, Monday, he said the report of the district administration on the alleged sexual abuse contradicts the reports prepared by the independent truth finding committee.

Convener K Ashraf staed that in past months, they have met the DC 2-3 times. The DC’s promise of providing Lady Goshen Hospital report to the girl’s parents has not been done.

Health and Family Welfare Minister U T Khader, DK District-in-Charge Minister B Ramanath Rai, Member of Parliament Nalin Kumar Kateel and all local public representatives have assured of justice, but police are not ready to give a statement against the school which is run by a retired IGP. The statement of victim’s mother has been distorted in the police report.  There is a doubt that they are trying to submit a false report to the government, he said.

If they neglect the case, after ten days protests will be held in front of the Deputy Commissioner’s office and the particular education institution.   Student organizations will protest across the state and justice will be sought through legal means. Post card campaign will be commenced for higher-level enquiry, he warned.
