Renowned theatrical personality V.G.Pal no more

Mangaluru, Mar 21, 2024: Renowned theatrical personality, actor, director Venugopal who  was popularly known as V.G.Pal passed away on Wednesday night at a private hospital in Mangaluru. He was 78 and is survived by his wife, two sons and a daughter.

 

Born at Bokkapatna in Mangaluru in 1946, V.G. Pal had served as an employee of Karnataka State Fisheries Development Corporation. He had the distinction of acting in over 3,000 plays.

V.G.Pal was active in theatrical and film industry since  six decades. He was the recipient of numerous awards including Tulu Sahitya Academy and Karnataka Nataka Academy Awards.
