Renowned Kambala patron Vinu Vishwanath Shetty passes away

Mangaluru, Dec 24, 2018: Renowned Kambala patron and entrepreneur Moodbidri Karinje Vinu Vishwanath Shetty (54) passed away on December 23, Sunday afternoon following a cardiac arrest.

He developed chest pain while returning from the Hokkadigoli Kambala. Though he was immediately rushed to the hospital his life could not be saved.

The buffaloes owned by Shetty had won the first place in the Kambala held on Sunday. A successful entrepreneur in Dubai, he was even conferred the DK District level Kannada Rajyotsava Award.

Shetty who was active in the Save Kambala movement  was also in the news when he built a swimming pool for Kambala buffaloes in his house.
