Renovated Mallikatta Circle to be inaugurated Dec 22

Mangaluru, Dec 21, 2018: The Mallikatta Circle at Kadri, renovated by Bhandary builders, will be inaugurated by DK In-charge Minister U T Khader at 7 pm on December 22. Mangaluru Mayor Bhaskar K will be present.

Bhandary Builders proprietor Lakshmish Bhandary addressed media at Patrika Bhavan on Dec 20, Thursday said the Mallikatta Circle was beautified to include an artwork designed by artist Rajendra Kedige.

The metal work is done by Muhammed Imran and Gokul Raj has worked on the engineering aspect.

“The artworks symbolises the culture of Tulunadu and comprises of details on Panjurli Paddana, Yakshagana, the Dravidian origin of Tulu language, poets Ratnakaravarni and Kumaravyasa. The circle is decorated with stone pillars, lighting, lawns and flower-bearing plants.”

The project is a contribution to the smart city by Bhandary builders and has been carried out under its CSR funds at a total cost of Rs 21 lakh, said Lakshmish Bhandary.

Kadri corporator Ashok D K, Bhandary builders advisor Venu Sharma and artist Rajendra Kedige were present.
