Refusing foreign aid for Kerala flood relief not proper : MLC B M Farooq

Mangaluru, Aug 23, 2018: MLC B M Farooq has said that it was surprising that the Prime Minister Narendra Modi led  Union Government has refused the aid offered by UAE and Thailand for  the flood affected people of Kerala.

 

Addressing press persons  here on August 23, Thursday, he said  UAE has come forward to extend the aid on humanitarian grounds as Keralites have contributed greatly to the progress of the nation. There is nothing wrong  if India accepts foreign aid, Farooq who is also the   General Secretary of JD(S) said.
