Recycling of effluents : Mangaluru adjudged best in State

Mangaluru, Feb 19, 2018:  Mangaluru City Corporation has been adjudged first in the state for recycling and processing effluents and supplying the same for industrial purposes. Mangaluru was chosen for the Award by City Managers Association, Karnataka and Directorate of Municipal Administration.

 

The award carrying a cash prize of Rs one lakh, citation and certificate was  presented to MCC Commissioner Mohammad Nazeer, engineers Madhu Manohar and Raghupal at a function held in Bengaluru  by Minister for Municipalities and local bodies Eshwar Kundre.

A B Ibrahim, Managing Director of KUIDFC, Dr R Vishal, Secretary of Urban Development Department, K J George, State Minister and others were present.
