Ravi Katapady chosen for Panchavarna Rajyotsava Award

Kundapur, Oct 05, 2021: Panchavarna Yuvaka Mandala of Kota in Kundapur taluk has chosen social worker Ravi Katapady for this year’s Panchavarna Rajyotsava Award in recognition  of the yeoman contributions made by him to mitigate the sufferings of the poor. It may be recalled here that Ravi Poojary who dons  unique costumes every year during Vittla Pindi celebrations in Udupi, raises funds for the medical aid of children from poor families.

 

The Award would be presented to  Ravi at a function to be held at Kota on November 1.  State Minister Kota Srinivas Poojary will confer the award.
