Ration Cards not linked to Aadhar will be cancelled: U T Khader

Mangaluru Sep 12, 2016: Minister for Food and Civil Supplies Minister UT Khader said that, ration card which are not linked to Aadhar at the end of this month will be cancelled .

UT Khader-pres...Addressing to the press at Eden Club today September 12 Monday he clarified that if the Aadhar numbers of any of the family members do not get linked this way, names of such member will be deleted.

He also said that, we have taken measures to bring app based taxis, direct marketing and Online seller under the government control which will strengthen the rights of the consumers.  

Several passengers are cheated to avoid such problems and to bring uniformity the government decided to bring app based taxis under its control, said Khader.

During the first phase weighing machine will be placed in Hypermarket and Super market and the rest will be during second phase, he added.

Reacting to Cauvery row UT Khader says that, supreme court verdict is unfortunate and Tamil Nadu is facing crisis even after state government has abide by the verdict, Tamil Nadu should understand the problem faced by Karnataka and government is finding alternative to sort out water crisis in the state.

He also said that, even after knowing the consequences of denying the verdict of Supreme Court, opposition are criticizing the issue.

Bangrappa has opposed NGT verdict but not Supreme Court’s verdict and it is impossible to oppose the verdict of Supreme Court, says UT Khader.
