Ramanath Rai inaugurates Narayana Guru Jayanthi at Gokarnatheshwara Temple

Mangaluru, Sep 16, 2016: District In Charge Minister Ramanath Rai inaugurates Narayana Guru Jayanthi at Gokarnatheshwara Temple Kudroli Today September 16, Friday.

 

This is for the first time this year the State Government has initiated to celebrate Narayana Guru Jayanthi.

Speaking on the occasion Ramanath Rai said that, recently Chief Minister Siddarammaih officially announced to celebrate Narayana Guru Jayanthi during his visit to Billava Samavesha at Sajipa.

Eminent Scholar Ganesh Amin said that, Mother Theresa and Narayana Guru have similar qualities while Mother Theresa served for poor and healed their physical wounds while Narayana Guru healed mental wounds.

MLA JR Lobo said that, people need to follow the values and preachings by Narayana Guru

Earlier Minister for Food and Civil Supplies UT Khader and MLA JR Lobo flagged off Narayana Guru chariot from Kudroli College to Mannagudda.
