Ramanath Rai Inaugurates Kadri Park entrance Gate

Mangalore Jan 22, 2016: District In charge Minister B Ramanath Rai inaugurates newly constructed Kadri Park entrance gate today, 22nd Jan 2016.Speaking to the press he said that, Kadri park has been the centre of attraction for the people in Mangalore, for which foundation stone was led three months back for this newly constructed entrance gate which has been inaugurated today.

 

 

 On the occasion of Karavali Utsav, many major programmes will be held here. Horticulture department is organizing three day floriculture and horticulture show in this park, followed by cultural event in the evening.

He also said that, Entrance was much needed for the Kadri Park, MCC has taken initiative in renovating and beautify the park, This initiative will surely aspire people to come in to the park in most number, it is important that people should maintain cleanliness in the park which is most needed for the betterment of the park, he requested.

MLA J.R.Lobo said that, Kadri park one of the attractive park since long year, preference was given to this park to renovate and make this park even more visiting site.

This newly constructed entrance gate is constructed budgeting around 38 lakhs. Toy train in Kadri is been off the track from past couple of years is likely to be back this year. Railway department has taken initiative to manufacture new toy train Government has sanctioned Rs. 40 lakhs and railway officials have given the quotation of 80 Lakhs lakhs. Musical foundation work has started with government sanctioning Rs. 5 crore  and will be completed soon.he added.
