Rakesh Malli files complaint against Muthappa Rai ; alleges life threat

Mangaluru, Feb 29,2020 :  Rakesh Malli, entrepreneur and State  Secretary of INTUC has lodged a complaint with the District Superintendent of Police alleging that he  has  been threatened by Jaya Karnataka Founder Muthappa Rai and his children. Incidentally, Rakesh Malli is a one time close confidante of Muthappa Rai.

 

Malli in his complaint has alleged that a 17.5 acre land in Bantwal which was jointly purchased by him and Muttappa Rai   several years ago, though was sold to Rai’s brother Karunakera Rai, he (Malli) has not got his share. Malli has alleged that he was threatened with murder when he demanded his share.

Malli has also made a serious allegation in the complaint that the family of Muttappa Rai has   given a contract to an Uttar Pradesh man for Rs 20 lakhs to eliminate him.
