Rahul to campaign in Bantwal on April 27

Bantwal, Apr 24, 2018: AICC President Rahul Gandhi will be visiting Bantwal on April 27  for election campaigning, informed B Ramanatha Rai, DK District in-charge Minister and Congress candidate from Bantwal.

Addressing press persons at the District Congress office on April 24,  Tuesday, he said  Rahul who will arrive on April 27 morning will address a public meet  near the Jodumarga Park near BC Road.

Rai said there was no confusion over ticket distribution in the party in the district and struck a note of optimism when he said that the party would win all eight constituencies in DK.

He described the BJP as a divided house and added that the dissidents in BJP were in touch with the Congress.

Referring to MP Nalin Kumar’s statements he said "I do not need rest. But may be Nalin needs it. In another year we will give him complete rest."

DCC Chief Harish Kumar, MLC Ivan D’Souza, Ibrahim Kodijal, A C Vinayraj and others were present.
