Rahul Gandhi to hold road show in city, Mar 20

Mangaluru, Mar 15, 2018: AICC Secretary P C Vishnunath said that AICC President Rahul Gandhi will hold a road show and mega rally in the coastal districts of Dakshina Kannada and Udupi districts on March 20.

Speaking at a press meet, Vishnunath said as a part of Janashirwad Yatra, Rahul Gandhi will visit coastal districts. He will attend Seva Dal programme at Kaup in Udupi. Later, a road show will be held in Kaup. After the road show, he will proceed to Padubidri for a corner meeting. From Padubidri, he will reach Mulki where another road show will be held. Later, he will hold a road show in Surathkal. In Mangaluru, a road show will be held from Ambedkar Circle to Nehru Maidan, where a mega rally will be held.

Rahul Gandhi will be accompanied by Chief Minister Siddaramaiah, KPCC President Dr G Parameshwara, AICC secretary in charge of Karnataka K C Venugopal, MPs Mallikarjuna Kharge, Veerappa Moily and others.

On March 21, Rahul Gandhi will visit Sringeri temple and later a road show will be held at Sringeri. A public rally will be held at Chikkamagaluru. From Chikkamagaluru, he will proceed to Hassan.

District In-charge Minister Ramanath Rai said that the ministers and MLAs in Dakshina Kannada will visit all the Block Congress in the district, to convene a meeting for the success of Rahul Gandhi’s visit to Dakshina Kannada.
