Puttur : Two members of a family hacked to death; another critical

Puttur, Nov 19, 2019:  In a shocking incident, unidentified assailants have  hacked to death two members of a family while another woman has sustained serious injuries in the attack which took place late night on Monday at Hosmaru in Kuriya village.

The deceased have been identified as Koggu Saheb (62) and his granddaughter Samiha (16). Koggu Saheb’s wife Khatijamma (55) has sustained serious injuries and has been admitted to a private hospital in Puttur.

The three were attacked inside their house. The incident came to light only on Tuesday morning.

Sampya police are investigating the case.
