Puttur : Tourist bus overturns injuring several passengers

Puttur, Feb 12, 2016: Several people travelling in a private tourist bus sustained injuries when the bus overturned  at Valalu near Bajattur in Puttur during the wee hours of February 12, Friday. The bus was on way to Mangaluru from Bengaluru when the driver who was drowsy lost control over the vehicle resulting in the mishap.

Those  in the bus were returning after attending a wedding in Bengaluru. A family from Manjeshwar had hired the bus.

The injured namely Avinash, Narasimha, Subrahmanya, Sushil,  Jalaja and others have been admitted to a hospital in Mangaluru after initial treatment at a Puttur Hospital.
