Puttur: Three arrested for ganja consumption

Puttur, Mar 21, 2024: Puttur city police on Wednesday arrested three accused who were misbehaving under the influence of ganja in public places.

 

The arrested accused have been identified as Kalandar Shah (41) b. Umar Farooq (36) and K. Mohiddin (43) resident of Mukkacherry Ullala.

Kalander Shah was apprehended near the private bus stand in Nelikatte of Puttur city, while Ummar Farook and K. Mohideen were detained near the Purabhavana in the city.

When they were subjected to medical examination, it was confirmed that they had consumed illegal marijuana.

A case has been registered at Puttur Nagar police station and investigation is underway.
