Puttur : Drug peddler arrested; accomplice escapes

Puttur, Sep 23, 2020:    A person who was  trying to sell ganja was arrested by the police after a chase at  Kemminje village of Puttur   taluk. Another person however managed to flee.  A total of 166 grams of ganja worth Rs 3,000, a scooter and a mobile phone has been seized from the accused.

 

The arrested person is Narimogaru resident Sazil Ahmed (24). Based on the information provided by him, the absconding person has been identified as  Mohammad Ashraf of Kemminje.
