Puttur: Child’s death blamed on doctor’s negligence

Puttur, Apr 10, 2019 : In a tragic incident , a child died at Chethana Hospital in Puttur on April 09, Tuesday, family blames doctor’s negligence.

 

The decased is identified as Yadish(5)son of Harishchandra, resident of Nelligudde near Kalladka.

Reports said that Yadish was suffering from high fever had visited child specialist Dr Sreekanth Rao at Chethana Hospital in Puttur. As the temperature was constant the doctor advised the family to get him admitted to the hospital. He was given a dose glucose by the hospital staff due to which he started vomitting. The doctor reached the hospital, proclaimed the child was dead.The family has booked against the doctor for his negligence.

Puttur police have registered the case.
