Puttur : 3 relatives electrocuted while working in plantation

Puttur, May 02, 2016: Three persons, all of them relatives who were working in a plantation  were electrocuted in a tragic incident reported from Yenettody  near Shantinagar in Bellippady on May 2, Monday morning.

The deceased are Sesappa Gowda (41), Babu Gowda (55) and Karthik Gowda (20). It is learnt, the three suffered electric shock from a cable while they were working in the plantation of Babu Gowda, an autorickshaw driver. The other deceased namely Sesappa Gowda was the brother of Babu and was a tipper driver. Karthik  Gowda was a  student of KVG College, Sullia  and was pursuing a diploma course.

The three had sustained serious injuries in the mishap. Though they were immediately rushed to the hospital their lives could not be saved.
