Puttur : 2 Kasargod residents arrested for cattle trafficking

Puttur, Sep 04, 2020:     Puttur Police have arrested two Kasargod residents on the charges of illegally transporting a calf in an Omni van at Purusharakatte in Narimogaru village. A calf which was crammed in the vehicle was rescued by the police.

 

Those arrested are Chandran T (34) and Shivaprasad Bhat K (52). Police have booked the duo under Prevention of  Cattle Slaughter Act.
