Mangaluru, June 06, 2020: The Smart City Advisory Committee meeting held at the DC office on June 5, Friday has given its approval for the development of the Pumpwell-Padil road at a cost of Rs 26 crores. The meeting was chaired by MP Nalin Kumar Kateel.
The road measuring 2,800 meters needs urgent development and therefore it has been decided to develop this road under Smart City Project,.
Nalin Kumar Kateel who spoke on the occasion, said tenders have been invited for the Pumpwell bus terminus project/ He also stressed the need for the development of the service bus stand at State Bank area.
Mangaluru Smart City Managing Director Mohammad Nazeer who spoke on the occasion said the Gujjarakere and Kavoor lake are being developed at a cost of Rs 4 crores and Rs 8 crores respectively.
Deputy Commissioner Sindhu Rupesh, Mangaluru South MLA Vedavyas Kamath and others were present.
