Protest over Gerosa school incident: HC stays probe into 5 including 2 MLAs

Mangaluru, Mar 25, 2024: The High Court has stayed investigation into five people including Mangaluru South MLA Vedavyas Kamath and Mangaluru North MLA  Bharath Shetty in connection with the Gerosa School case wherein a teacher allegedly offended a particular religion in the classroom. The court has also issued notice to the complainant.

 

Apart from the two MLAs, VHP leader Sharan Pumpwell, Bharath Kumar and Sandeep Garodi were the accused in the case.

The complaint was lodged by Anil Gerald Lobo. The High Court had earlier granted bail to the accused.
