Protest march in Shirva demanding probe into Fr Mahesh D’Souza death case

Udupi, Nov 05 2019: Hundreds of people have begun a protest march at Shirva on November 5, Tuesday demanding a thorough investigation into the case of death of Assistant Parish Priest and Principal of Don Bosco School, Shirva Fr Mahesh D’Souza.  Fr Mahesh was found hanging in his cabin on the night of October 11. Though he is suspected to have committed suicide, the circumstances that led him to such an extreme step are shrouded in mystery.

 

 

The protest march commenced from Shirva Church. The protestors will march upto the  Shirva Police Station and submit a memorandum to the police authorities.
