Protest intensifies against toll gate ; bundh in Sasthan, Kota

Udupi, Dec 07, 2018:  All shops and business establishments in the towns of Kota and Sasthan have downed their shutters in support of today’s  protest organised by the    Rashtriya Heddari Jagrithi Samithi to condemn the collection of toll  at Sasthan Toll Gate from local vehicles. The protest was also organised against the unscientific highway works.

 

The protest   being held with the co-operation of various organisations is participated by MP Shobha Karandlaje, MLC Kota Srinvas Poojary, MLAs Haladi Srinivas Shetty, Raghupathi Bhat, Lalaji Mendon, ZP Chief Dinaker Babu, INTUC State Chief Rakesh Malli, Udupi District BJP Chief Mattaru Ratnaker Hegde, Kemaru seer Sri Esha Vitaldasa Swamiji, Balekudru Mutt’s Shree Narasimhashrama Swamiji, Sasthan Masjid’s Maulana Irfan Alam, Sasthan Church Parish Priest Fr John Walter Mendonca, Samithi President Pratap Shetty and others.
