Protest by Nagarika Samithi : Buses off roads in Mudipu

Bantwal, Dec 30, 2014:  Buses were off the roads in Mudipu area   on December 30, Tuesday   following a protest by the Nagarika Kriya Samithi which  has placed forth a demand for reduction in bus fares.

ZP member Santosh Kumar Rai Boliyar who was part of the protest threatened to launch severe protest from January 7 if the   bus fares were not reduced by then.He said the bus operators have refused to reduce the fares even after reduction in fuel prices.

Nagarika Kriya Samithi President Rajaram Bhat, Devadas Bhandary, President of Kurnad Gram Panchayat,  Azghar Ali, BJP leader and others were present.
