Protest by MCC Civic Group demanding bus shelter near St Agnes College

Mangaluru, Feb 22, 2018: MCC Civic Group staged a protest at Bendorewell on February 22, Thursday demanding  construction of a bus shelter near the St Agnes institutions.

 

Speaking on the occasion, activist Gerard Towers said the  bus shelter which was at the spot since 60 years has been demolished by some unknown hands by colluding with the MCC. This has  inconvenienced hundreds of students of the educational institutions here, he said. He also warned of taking to legal recourse if the bus  shelter was not reconstructed at the spot.

AAP leader Rajendra Kumar, Ajay D’Silva and others took part in the protest.
