Prof. Jayaprakash Shetty appointed as Vice-Dean of KSHEMA

Mangaluru, Dec 27, 2017: Prof. Dr. Jayaprakash Shetty K, Professor & Head of the Department of Pathology is appointed as Vice-Dean (Administration) of K.S. Hegde Medical Academy on 19th December 2017.

 

 

Dr. Jayaprakash Shetty K, started his academic journey in Mysore Medical College, from where he graduated and completed his postgraduation, M.D in Pathology from Manipal Academy of Higher Education (A Deemed-to-be University).

He joined K.S.Hegde Medical Academy in the year 1999 and worked as Assistant Professor, Associate Professor and Professor &  Head in the Dept. of Pathology for a period of 18 years. He served as Registrar of K.S. Hegde Medical Academy for a period of 11 years, and now he is appointed as Vice-Dean (Administration) of K. S. Hegde Medical Academy with effect from 19th December 2017.

He is a recipient of Doctor’s Day Award from IMA Headquarters, Delhi. He has a vast experience of administration and is a member of various administrative bodies.
