Prof. Ashish M Khokar felicitated with “Jayakala Prashasthi”

Mangaluru, Oct 30, 2019: Sridevi Nrithya Kendra a cosmopolitan institution devoted to the preservation and development of Arts under the Directorship of Dr.Araty H Shetty held its valedictory function of Nrityotsava-2019  at Town Hall on 24th & 25th October 2019. The event commenced with the Prathibha Pradarshan on 24th a National Level dance competition in which 15 contestants from all over the country Participated. .Ms. Manasa(Mangalore)  secured First Prize and the Award “Yuvakala Prashasthi”,  the second prize was bagged by Mr. Roshan Bhaskar Poojary(Kundapur)  Miss. Aishwaryalakshmi(Kolkata) secured the Third Prize.

 

 

On the 25th  October 29, 2019 The award function was organized in which Famous Art critic, Author and  Curator of Mohan Khokar Dance Archives of India Prof. Ashish Mohan Khokar was awarded the “Jaya kala Prashasthi”instituted in memory of Shanthala Awardee Late Smt.Jayalakshmi Alva, Also the winners and participants  of the Prathibha Pradarshan were felicitated followed with the Arrangetram of Kum.Amruthavalli V V. Kateel Sri Lakshminarayana Assranna rendered the Ashirvachana, Senior guru Shantala Awardee Guru Ullal Mohan Kumar Felicitated the Awardee . Smt.Minal Prabhu was Chief Guest, sri Harikrishna Punaroor and Sri Pradeep kumar Kalkura were the guest of honors. Smt. Uma Vasudevan welcomed the gathereing Sri. Vasudevan V K thanked the gathereing .Dr.Shalini Aiyappa conducted the ceremony.
