Pro-Pak slogan issue : Complaint, counter complaint lodged

Belthangady, Jan 04, 2021:     The  incident outside a counting centre at Ujire  wherein some people raised pro-Pakistan slogans  during victory celebrations recently has snowballed into a controversy with the SDPI already claiming that the video relating to the incident was doctored.

 

In the meantime, a Hindu man from Ujire  has lodged a complaint with the police alleging that an attempt was made to defame him by blaming him for the pro-Pak slogan. In his complaint, the man has blamed the SDPI.

Meanwhile, in a counter complaint, the SDPI activists have alleged that the slogans were actually raised by Hindu activists who were now trying to blame the SDPI for the same.

Investigations  are underway.
