Pro-Pak slogan issue : 3 arrested

Belthangady, Dec 31, 2020:      Police have arrested three persons in connection with Wednesday’s incident wherein a few people raised pro-Pakistan slogans during the victory celebrations  of Gram Panchayat elections.

 

Those arrested are Mohammad Irshad (22), Davood (36) and Isaq (28). All the three are residents of Pilichandikallu Kuvettu.

The viral video relating to the  pro-Pak slogans during the victory celebrations is  being subject to technical analysis. Police have also gathered two other videos shot from a mobile phone related to the incident.

The pro-Pak slogans were heard when SDPI and BJP workers were celebrating their respective win  outside a  counting centre in Ujire.
