Priyanka Gandhi’s entry into active politics will give sleepless nights to PM : Poojary

Mangaluru, Jan 24, 2019: "People see Indira Gandhi in Priyanka Gandhi. Her entry into active politics will give sleepless nights to Prime Minister Narendra Modi," said senior Congress leader B Janardhana Poojary.

 

Speaking to reporters here on January 24, Thursday, Poojary said  not just Uttar Pradesh, the party needs the services of Priyanka Gandhi in other parts of the nation too. "The people are aware of the sacrifices made by Nehru family to the nation. It is owing to this reason that there is a good response to her  entry into politics," he added.

To another question, Poojary said he will contest the next Lok Sabha elections if the party gave him a ticket.

On the coalition government in Karnataka, he said it will last its full term and added the government has survived because of Deve Gowda.
