Private PU college student files harassment case against lecturer

Mangalore, July 22, 2014 :Speaking to media, a senior police officer stated, a student has filed a complaint against her lecturer.

The police have initiated measures to arrest the accused who is not traceable.

 A student of a private PU college has filed a sexual harassment complaint against her lecturer, at Mangalore rural police station on July 21. She has been facing this torture since about a year and unable to tolerate and ashamed to speak out tried to commit suicide at her home but was saved in time. The matter then came into the open and her family approached the police along with the girl.

In her complaint, she has accused the lecturer of sending obscene messages and touching intentionally. The accused is Harish, Kannada lecturer of the college in Vamanjoor. The accused Harish hails from Kalladka and is residing in a rented house in Vamanjoor.
