Prime accused in Pajir Church burglary case arrested

Mangaluru, Jan 30, 2016 : The prime accused in the case of theft in the Our Lady of Mercy Church at Pajir near Konaje, has been arrested.

The accused named Sahul Hameed of Harekala was arrested by a police team led by SI Ashok of Konaje station. He has been produced before the court and remanded to judicial custody.

The theft had taken place on November 23  last year wherein a laptop, holy sacrament and some other goods were stolen.

The CCTV camera installed in the church had provided footages of the thieves entering the church premises.

A few persons have already been arrested in connection with this case.
