President to visit Udupi on Dec 27, high security mode in city

Udupi, Dec 20, 2018: An official press release issued on December 19,  Wednesday said that high grade security measures will be in place during the visit of President Ramnath Kovind to Sri Krishna Mutt/Temple here on December 27.

 

The President would arrive at the Inspection Bungalow on December 27. He would then visit Sri Krishna Mutt/Temple. All shops from SMSP Sanskrit College to Car Street and around Car Street would remain closed from 6 a.m. to 4 p.m. on the day. People will not be allowed to enter Sri Krishna Mutt/Temple from 6 a.m. to 3 p.m. on December 27.

An order to this effect had been issued by the Udupi DC Priyanka Mary Francis, the release stated.
