President Ram Nath Kovind accorded warm welcome at temple town of Udupi

Udupi, Dec 27, 2018: President Ram Nath Kovind   who arrived at Udupi on December 27, Thursday was  accorded a warm welcome at the Helipad at Adi Udupi by State Governor Vajubhai Vala,  Udupi District in-charge Minister  Jayamala, Nagaland Governor Padmanabha Bakakrishna Acharya, Udupi Deputy Commissioner Priyanka Mary Francis, SP Laxman Nimbargi and  ZP Chief Dinaker Babu among others.

The President is set to participate  in the Guruvandana programme of Sri Vishwesha Theertha Swamiji of Pejawar Mutt on the occasion of the  80th anniversary of the Sanyasa Deeksha of the Swamiji.

The President will also be visiting the Krishna Mutt. Security has been tightened in and around Udupi in view of the President’s visit.
