Pregnant young woman commits suicide ; hubby missing

Mangaluru, April 08, 2015: A young pregnant woman of Tamil Nadu origin has reportedly committed suicide at her house at Amblamogaru  Baredadka in Konaje police station limits on April 8, Wednesday.

The deceased has been  identified as Priya (21), wife of Vighnesh. She was found hanging in her house. The  needle of suspicion is on her husband who is reportedly missing. Though another rope was found hanging close by the place where Priya hanged herself, the suspicion now is that even Vighnesh might have attempted suicide but failed as the rope got ripped.

The couple were labourers  and reportedly had a love marriage two years ago  in Tamil Nadu. It is learnt they later shifted to Mangaluru as their families were not happy with their marriage.

The reason behind Priya’s suicide is not known. Police have launched a search for her husband.
