Udupi, Aug 23,2016: The case relating to the murder of Praveen Poojary over cattle transportation issue at Santhekatte Kajke will be transferred from Brahmavar to Hebri Police Station as per the permission granted by a court here on August 22, Monday.
Earlier, the investigation officer in the case had moved the Additional Civil Judge’s Court and Additional Chief Judicial Magistrate’s Court in this regard on the grounds that the incident had taken place in the jurisdiction of Hebri Police Station.
Presently, police have arrested 21 persons in connection with the case and all have been remanded to judicial custody.
Karkala Circle Inspector will be the investigation officer.
