Prashanth murder case : CCB police arrest one more accused

Mangaluru, Nov 6, 2014 :  The City Crime Branch police have arrested one Jayesh (22), said to be an accomplice of underworld don Vicky alias Balakrishna Shetty. Police said he was arrested  in connection with the murder of  a transport firm manager named Prashanth alias Pachchu  which took place near the Mangala Bar in Valencia in April last year.

The arrest was made at Valiyathura near Tiruvananthapuram on November 3.

 With his  arrest,   a total of eight persons have been arrested so far in connection with the case.  Others arrested in the case are Bhavish, Radhakrishna Shetty, Bhavanishanker, Praveen KP, Gautham alias Gauthu, Naveen Shetty and Sharan alias Rohidas, all    accomplices of Vicky Shetty.

 

Jayesh is said to be a resident of KHB colony at Bondel and was also an accused in the Badruddin murder which took place at Brahmarakootlu in 2011. Even in this case, Jayesh had evaded repeated court summons following which an arrest warrant was issued against him.
