Prashanth Poojary murder accused hacked to death in Mysuru prison

Mysuru, Nov 10, 2016:  Mustafa (30), who was arrested in connection with the Prashanth Poojary murder case at Moodbidri last year, and was lodged at the Central Prison here, was  hacked to death  by a fellow prisoner following a clash between under trials on November 10, Thursday morning.

 Mustafa  hailed from Mangaluru.  It has been gathered that Mustafa who was seriously injured in the attack though was rushed to the hospital, he passed away there. The reason behind the murder is not known.

The accused under trial has been identified as Kiran Shetty from Mangaluru. Sources said he nurtured a vengeance against Mustafa since some time.
