Pramod Muthalik accuses State government for being disrespectful to Hindus.

Mangaluru: June 11, 2015: Pramod Muthalik, Sri Ram sene chief, accused the state government and the health and family welfare minister for hurting the sentiments of the Hindu community.

Addressing the press conference here on Thursday, Pramod Muthalik took an exception to a photo of Narasimha that was used as a TB control poster by the state government. Muthalik demanded an unconditional apology from U T Khader, he said the government must immediately withdraw the controversial poster brought out to create awareness about diseases.


The poster represents Hindu God Narasimha, eradicating Tuberculosis.  Muthalik argued that poster violates the Article 295 of Indian constitution act which prohibits the insult of gods of any religion. 


In addition to that he said, the Congress government has been regularly trying to hurt the feelings of Hindus since the administration, the government is testing the patience of Hindus by imitating anti-Hindu policy.


Speaking about the withdrawal of cases against PFI and KFD, he alleged that the Government is encouraging terrorism.
