Prajna, ChildFund India distribute solar lanterns to nearly 400 underprivileged children

Mangaluru, Sep 13, 2015 :   Solar lanterns were distributed to as many as 400 children  under the aegis of Prajna Counselling Centre at a programme titled ‘Ujwal Bhavishya Ki Ore’ (Towards a Bright Future) organised  as part of the Phase II campaign ‘Reading Improvement-Books my Friends.’

 The programme was held in association with  Child Fund India Project. DDPI Walter D’Mello inaugurated the programme and distributed solar lanterns to under privileged children.

In his address, Walter D’Mello exhorted the beneficiary children to make good use of the facility provided to them and  achieve excellence in academics.

Prajna Counselling Centre Director Prof. Hilda Rayappan, Child Fund Project Director Sulaiman Kaniga and others were present.
