Poojary responds to BJP’s offer; says he will remain in congress till his death

Mangaluru: September 23, 2015: Reacting to the BJP’s offer to dump congress party and to join BJP, Veteran Congress leader B Janardhan Poojary on Wednesday said that the unusual invitation only reveals the pettiness of the BJP leaders and activists.

 

He said he strongly believes in the principal of congress party. And said he was one of the close aides of former Prime Minister Indira Gandhi. He said he will be in congress party till his death.

Speaking to the media persons at Congress party office, Mr. Poojary said Congress Party totally follows the Indian constitution and its values, but BJP does not believe in that. His reaction comes after Mr Bhandary invited him to join the BJP’.

He censured that BJP have no morality to speak against Yettinahole project as it was BJP leader DV Sadananda Gowda who approved the project when he was chief minister of Karnataka.

He later slammed central government for withdrawing Rajiv Gandhi and Indira Gandhi stamps
